My Winter VacationIn winter vacation our family went to Australia to see my aunt. We stayed at my aunt%u2019s house.First, day, we went on my uncle%u2019s boat. I swam with my cousins. It was a lot of fun. When it was lunch time I ate some sandwiches and chicken, it was very yummy. Then we continued to play and we sat on my uncle%u2019s motor boat. It was fast and very cool. Finally, we went back home to eat dinner. The dinner was very delicious. My aunt cooked a big chicken and some sausage rolls. It was good. Then we went to the Gold Coast. We played on the beach all day. The sand looked like gold and the waves were huge. I fell down in the big waves sometimes. Then, we had pizza and chips for dinner and I ate the 31 ice-cream. It was very good. I liked Coles Supermarket. I bought some chocolate and chips. My mom bought some ice pops. Finally, we went back to Taiwan. I was sad to go back to Taiwan because I wanted to stay in Australia longer. I hope I can go back to Australia.HolidaysI like all holidays. A tradition is a special way that something has been done for a long time. Traditions are repeated year after year. On Mother%u2019s Day, I give presents to my mother. On Father%u2019s Day, I give presents to my father. Couples give each other gifts on Valentine%u2019s Day. I dress up in scary costumes on Halloween. My sister and I go trick-o-treating for candy. On Chinese New Year, my family and I watch parades. The dragon parade is a tradition on this holiday.Similarly, we often get together on Thanksgiving. It%u2019s an old tradition to eat turkey on Thanksgiving. On Christmas, I decorate a Christmas tree. We have a big holiday dinner. I like Santa Claus, reindeers, Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, and Christkind. All of them give gifts.
