I a t e dumplings,chicken,fish and other delicious foods. The elders gave me a lot of red envelopes. My parents and I went to Chihkan Tower in Tainan. There were many historical relics,for example a stone horse,stone stelas and the portrait of Koxinga.I bought some snacks only for sale in Tainan. We went to the famous shop to eat beef soup. %u3000%u3000I went to Kaohsiung for the first time. My parents and I took the beautiful ferry to Cijin. We saw the Lighthouse and Fort. Many people also went there for sightseeing.I felt like taking a bus or MRT when taking a light rail in downtown. We went to the popular local hot pot and barbecue restaurants for dinner.%u3000%u3000I had a great winter vacation.Class 503 Andy Chang%u3000%u3000During this winter vacation, I went to my grandparents%u2019 house in Taichung and we had a great Chinese New Years holiday. We went to Taichung On New Year%u2019s eve. We went to a very big restaurant called Yi-Ding Shrimp Restaurant. As the name suggests this restaurant%u2019s specialty is shrimp. This restaurant currently has four branches in Taiwan. There is a dedicated parking lot next door and a lot of space. The Nanyang-style architecture gives this place an exotic feeling. There is also some outdoor seating. There are many kinds of food. I really enjoy the lamb stove. The many shrimp dishes included salt grilled shrimp, and garlic shrimp. When we went home, my grandpa bought a lot of scratch off lottery tickets and normal lottery tickets for everyone. Then we all exchanged red envelopes. %u3000%u3000On New year%u2019s Day we went to Yuan Bao Palace and prayed to the gods to bless us with safety and health in the new year. Then, we went to a new park called Macaron Park. They have the tallest water slide in Taiwan. Finally, we went to Dakang scenic area to My Holiday
