-269-Trip to America Class 402. Zoey. Number 23%u3000%u3000I always get excited when the time nears the winter vacation. Especially, this winter vacation. This winter vacation I went to America.%u3000%u3000First of all, I went to a place called Bird Rock. This wildlife hub is buzzing with birds, harbor seals, and barking sea lions. Bird Rock was actually covered in 4 to 5 feet of pelican and cormorant guano until 1930, when it was harvested as a fertilizer. Sea lions took advantage of the cleaned-off perch and have been sunbathing there ever since!%u3000%u3000Next, I went to another place called, Pebble Beach. The game of golf is at its worldwide best at Pebble Beach Golf Links and the spectacular neighboring courses within Del Monte Forest. With its classic seaside holes, breathtaking beauty, and famous heritage, Pebble Beach hosted its sixth US Open Championship in 2019, during its centennial celebration.%u3000%u3000Then, I went to San Diego Zoo. Do you know what? There are only two northern white rhinos left on the planet! I saw many animals in San Diego Zoo. I saw polar bears, jaguars, burrowing owls, gorillas, giraffes, elephants, lions, goats, mules, zebras, black bears, tigers, and more! I had a fun day there.%u3000%u3000Next day, when I woke up, I heard a voice.%u3000%u3000%u201cIt%u2019s snowing outside!%u201d%u3000%u3000It was my sister%u2019s voice. Then, my sister and I played in the snow for about three hours! It was fun. I really enjoyed my trip to America and I%u2019m looking forward to visiting next time!
